A complementary protein source that also supports connective tissue, hair, skin, and nails. The amount of collagen that we use is similar to levels found in beef and delivers a full amino acid profile.

At Legendary, we obsess over the percent of calories from protein.

A higher percentage means that more of what you're eating is coming from protein - not carbs or fat. Calories from Protein can be easily calculated with the following steps:

1) Locate the total grams of protein in a product
2) Multiply that number by 4 (there are 4 calories in every gram of protein)
3) Divide that number by the total number of calories
4) All done!

"One of if not the greatest protein snacks I’ve tried to date. Tastes amazing and feels like a cheat dessert snack that is still great on macros. Are you guys going to introduce a new pastry potentially with protein content such as concentrate or isolate? Collagen peptides aren’t help when trying to build or maintain muscle.

Collagen Peptides are a great complementary protein source that also support connective tissue, hair, skin, and nails. The amount that we use in Legendary Sweet Rolls is similar to the levels found in beef and delivers a full amino acid profile! Our R&D team absolutely geeks out over our protein sources, and we use the PDCAAS (Protein Digestibility Corrected Amino Acid Score) when we calculate our nutrition facts. This takes into account the amino acid composition of our different proteins. Long story short: when we put 20g on the label, rest assured there’s 20g in there!
